Proud to live in Deal (not Dover)

The Boundary Commission for England are proposing new constituency boundaries. The wards of Little Stour and Ashstone, and Sandwich would be incorporated into the existing Dover (UK Parliament) constituency.

Democracy for Deal believes the naming of the constituency as Dover is confusing and undemocratically biased. We have written to the Boundary Commission and proposed the name of the constituency should be changed to 'Deal & Dover' to reflect the most populous wards.
